These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of the AssetScan software product ("Software") provided by AssetScan ("we", "us", or "our"). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using AssetScan you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Upon payment of the applicable one-time license fee, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the Software on your own server infrastructure for your internal business purposes. This license is granted to the purchasing entity only and may not be resold, sublicensed, or transferred without our prior written consent.

After purchase, we will deliver the Software files and installation instructions to the email address provided at the time of purchase. Installation support is included as described in your license package. We will make reasonable efforts to complete installation within the agreed timeframe.
Your license includes email support for the period specified at purchase (typically 6 months from the date of delivery). Support covers bug reports, configuration questions, and general usage questions. Support does not include custom development, major feature additions, or third-party integrations not included in the base product.
If your license includes a free updates period (typically 1 year from purchase), we will provide updates released during that period at no additional charge. After the updates period expires, you may continue using the last version you received. Continued updates may be available for purchase.
License fees are due in full prior to delivery of the Software. All fees are non-refundable once the Software has been delivered and installation has commenced, except where required by applicable law or where the Software materially fails to perform as described.
The Software is installed on your own server infrastructure. All data you enter into the Software resides on your servers and remains under your control and ownership. We have no access to your data. You are solely responsible for backing up your data and ensuring appropriate security measures are in place on your infrastructure.
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data or business interruption.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which we operate.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
